The annual Black Girls Rock! awards are routinely the best thing smoking on BET, and this year's telecast was no different. The celebration of Black Girl Magic had us glued to the television last night to not only cheer on the honorees as they accepted their awards but to witness one-of-a-kind performances by many of our faves. In that latter category was Ari Lennox who brought the sexy and the sassy with her live performance of "Shea Butter Baby" and "BMO."

Dressed to the nines in a silky, bubblegum pink frock adorned with ostrich feathers, Lennox served up vintage glamour. She kept it young and sexy, though, with a plunging neckline and slit all the way up her left thigh. As the First Lady of Dreamville confidently strutted on stage, the house band played the opening notes to "Shea Butter Baby" and she dove right into the steamy number. There was no surprise visit from bossman J. Cole to spit his bars, but Ari did switch things up with a slick segue into her current single "BMO." Once the "BMO" beat dropped in, she was joined by a troupe of dancers who supplied her with upbeat choreography while she walked back and forth and worked her flowy dress. It would have been cool to see Ari bust a little move, but the dancers held her down and she held her own in a room full of icons.
