PJ Morton Readies Gospel Releases On Morton Inspiration

Diddy's one-time mantra was "Can't stop, won't stop," and that phrase appears to be what's driving PJ Morton, too. The freshly-minted GRAMMY winner is showing no signs of slowing down after picking up the coveted award in February. PJ's next power move is with the creation of Morton Inspiration, the gospel arm of his Morton Records label. The new imprint is in conjunction with Tyscot Music & Entertainment, label home of Anthony Brown & Group therAPy and Casey J. To kick off the joint venture, Morton Inspiration will release two projects: the debut album by singer-songwriter Josiah "Jojo" Martin and an all-star compilation, The Gospel According to PJ, featuring reinterpretations of hits that he has written for other singers. Before we get these two albums in our hands, look out for The Amours to release their debut EP Mon Amour on Friday, April 26th and a new live album from PJ to be recorded live at 25th ESSENCE Festival later this year all on Morton Records. #PJSpreadingTheGospel
