En Vogue Takes Love To The Dance Floor On 'Reach 4 Me'

You know the old saying, ask and ye shall receive? After taking one spin of En Vogue's first album in 14 years, Electric Cafe, we knew early on that "Reach 4 Me" had single potential. Well, the trio of  Terry EllisCindy Herron-Braggs and newest member Rhona Bennett have answered the call, dropping the song as the fourth single to come from the album.

Produced by Dem Jointz, the uptempo song is perfect for a trip to the dance floor while staying true to the harmonies the group is best known for. While the song's beat is all party, the subject matter is all heart as the ladies assure their significant others that their love is here to stay. "And if you think I couldn't hear you, keep calling / I promise, baby, I'ma come soon / My love's not far away, so keep falling / Meet at the bottom, I'll be waiting on you," Cindy proclaims in the opening verse.

Although the song was just recently released as an official single, it is already climbing the charts, landing at the No. 3 spot on Billboard's Adult R&B Chart in addition to becoming one of radio's most added singles of the week. "Reach 4 Me" follows the release of the album's hit single "Rocket,"  while also coming on the heels of a triumphant return to the airwaves for the funky divas. After beginning work on what would eventually become Electric Cafe nearly four years ago, fans were finally able to get their hands on En Vogue's seventh studio album earlier this year, proving that good things indeed come to those who wait.
