We may be in the homestretch of summer, but that doesn't mean that festival season will be wrapping up anytime soon. The folks at Blockparty, a newly launched ticketing app, are throwing their hats into the festival ring in a big way with their inaugural Best Life Music Festival set to take place at Miami’s RC Cola Plant on September 15th.
Singer H.E.R. is set to headline the one-day festival, which seeks to bring together today’s rising R&B artists. Other performers announced so far include Ella Mai, Xavier Omär, Snoh Aalegra, Tobi Lou, Arin Ray, R.LUM.R., Summer Walker, Saintlee, Savannah Cristina, Nohemy and Ari Chi.
In addition to being the first Best Life Music Festival, the event also marks the first festival to solely use Blockparty’s innovative ticketing app. The platform seeks to eliminate instances of fraud and counterfeit tickets by using an encrypted facial recognition and fingerprint technology during the ticketing process.
