Leon Bridges Finds A Love 'Beyond' His Wildest Dreams & Plans 'Good Thing Tour'

For his latest release, singer/songwriter Leon Bridges does romance and retro in a way that only he can. “Beyond,” the third single from his upcoming LP Good Thing, confesses the overwhelming sense of fear he feels when confronted with "the one" and a love that transcends even his wildest dreams. Over a track laden with dreamy acoustic guitar chords and gentle drum kicks, his apprehension is apparent as he sings, “I'm scared to death that she might be it / That the love is real, that the shoe might fit / She might just be my everything and beyond.” The intensity builds and by the time he reaches the bridge when he surrenders with, “I give up, I'm in love crying out to you / O me, O my I can't explain / She might just be my everything.” As the saying goes, “when love calls, you better answer.”
