GoldLink Announces 'At What Cost,' Reveals Album Cover & Release Date

GoldLink "At What Cost" Cover

If you were to ask us here at SBHQ what rapper we think has next, most of us would undoubtedly say GoldLink. The DMV representer has had our ear ever since we first heard the strains of his Tweet-sampling banger "Dance On Me," and we've been checking for everything he's released since. Though he's had two releases, 2014's God Complex and 2015's And After That We Didn't Talk, the "Spectrum" rapper is now set to release what will be considered his proper debut At What Cost.

He went to every artists' favorite PR tool, Instagram, to share the news and the project's artistic cover. It features a painted image of GoldLink that would make Ernie Barnes proud with a blinged-out interpretation of him, his hands fanning stacks of $100 bills. Behind him, two attractive ladies in black thigh-high boots while flames and a pimped-out car sit behind them. The painted take is consistent with the artwork that's been featured on his most recent singles, so we're not honestly surprised there. What we are holding our breath in anticipation over, though, is the tracklist. While we're pretty sure the recently released "Meditation" and "Crew" are shoo-ins, we also really hope that there's room for older jams "Fall In Love" and "Rough Soul" as well.

Oh, did we mention that GoldLink also gave up the set's release date? Get your wallets ready for next Friday, March 24th, as that's when At What Cost will be available for purchase. Check out GoldLink's announcement on the 'Gram below.
