We were late to the H.E.R. party, but now that we've arrived, we definitely don't wanna leave. Her EP, H.E.R. Vol. 1, has been in constant rotation, setting the mood for many of our evenings during this cuffing season. But if you wanted more from the mysterious songstress, look no further than her latest offering, a cover of Rihanna's seductive ANTI track "Yeah, I Said It."

No stranger to covers (she expertly covered Drake's "Jungle" on her EP), she wastes no time making the track her own over the hazy minimal production. Like Rih, she starts the song in a breathy lower register as she makes it known that she wants you to "homicide it." From there, things get even more lusty as she lets her lover know exactly how she wants and needs it. But before you accuse her of just biting Rih's style, she adds little flourishes here and there to let you know that it's H.E.R.'s body party, including working in a brief bit of Floetry's "Say Yes" (which she also utilized on her EP's "Wait For It") before leading the listener to a satisfying climax by repeating the track's refrain.

Though we don't know much about the artist who might just be Gabi Wilson, we do know one thing, she damn sure knows her way around a lusty slow jam. See for yourself when you press play.
