Thankfully California-bred hip hop duo Audio Push are giving us a gospel-inspired supply of it in their latest single "Praise You." Produced by Hit-Boy, Audio Push successfully mix soul and hip hop to create an uplifting and respectful love letter. The duo, Oktane and Price, bring their ode to women to life with the help of R&B crooner Musiq Soulchild.
The minute you press play you'll want to have your own praise party as you listen to the instrumentals that will make it hard for you to sit still. "They want you gone / I want your time / They want you out your clothes / I want you mine / Let me praise you," sings Musiq. Together, the trio make a convincing proposition that's pretty hard to turn down.
When Musiq isn't adding his vocals to love songs, he's singing them on stage as part of the Love Jones: The Musical stage play. Audio Push on the other hand are focused on getting some album love ahead of the release of 90951, which drops on Friday, September 23rd.
