Even though it's been a couple of years since we've been blessed with new music from Nia Andrews, that hasn't meant that she hasn't been keeping busy. When she wasn't hosting CHURCH gigs across the country with her hubby/collaborator Mark de Clive-Lowe, she also linked up with Bounce-Worthy Canadian singer Mocky on the Japan leg of his tour in addition to performing a bunch of exclusive solo gigs around her L.A. hometown. Lucky for fans, she somehow made time to hit the studio and record new music, and it gets delivered in the form of her new single, "Inside Your Head," taken from her upcoming EP From Here due out August 26th via Bandcamp.

For her long-awaited return, Andrews channels the spirit of Minnie Riperton on this delicate and raw song, which was also produced by Mocky. Driven largely by a perfect combination of acoustic guitar, strings and Andrews' angelic vocals, "Inside Your Head" is the type of song that makes you want to find the kind of love that inspires lyrics such as, "And I can be your place to go / A glass of lemonade, a kiss under the mistletoe." Warm, vulnerable and inviting, Andrews creates an atmospheric experience that leaves you feeling as if you're floating amongst the clouds.
