There appears to be a heavy demand for authentic '90s R&B music, and the fellas, in particular, are ready to stand and deliver. Over the past couple of years, we've witnessed strong comeback efforts from dominant groups like Jodeci, Jagged Edge, Silk and Intro. Recent solo projects from Daron Jones and Slim (both of 112), Johnny Gill and Christopher Williams have done their part to keep the momentum going as well. Still, when we heard that Men At Large (remember "So Alone," y'all?) was back on the scene with new music and an accompanying video, we were pretty shocked.

The current lineup of David "Dave" Tolliver and Edgar "Gemini" Porter have thrown their hats into the resurgence ring with their current single "Date Night." The groovy serenade, which dropped earlier this year, offers their silky tenor voices over chilly synth and smooth harmonies. Referencing everything from "dinner and a movie" to a hotel "suite with a jacuzzi," Dave and Gemini are pulling out all the stops to treat their women right. The recent release of the video allows us to see them perform once again, along with a good-looking screen couple who are thoroughly enjoying some uninterrupted quality time.

The song is the lead single from the upcoming album Growth of A Man Inspired by Her, which also features J. Holiday, Silk and Troop. According to the press release, the compilation project "is comprised of 13 inspiring songs about women performed by true RnB legends who have been around for 20 plus years and still making real RnB music." But the best part is that, "One hundred percent of the net proceeds raised from the sale of this single will go towards benefiting Andern Educational Research, Inc. (GEMs Program)."
