Marvin Winans, Carvin Winans and Bebe Winans brought the house down and to tears performing as the 3 Winans Brothers during the Soul Train Awards 2014 when they graced the stage with a heart-wrenching performance of their song “I Really Miss You.” This somber moment was shared to honor their brother Ron Winans and the host of fallen African American entertainers whom we have lost within the past few years. The group of GRAMMY Award-winning brothers harmonized while the faces of Ruby Dee, Maya Angelou, Nelson Mandela, Big Bank Hank of the Sugar Hill Gang, Chris “Mac Daddy” Kelly of Kris Kross, James Avery, Shakir Stewart, Chris Lighty, George Duke, Don Cornelius and so many others, swiped across the screen and faded away. “I miss your voice / When you would call / I miss your smile, most of all,” the brothers sang, as the star-studded audience wiped tears from their faces.
