Earlier this year, Noel Gourdin released his long-awaited third album, City Heart, Southern Soul, a well-crafted compilation of the soulful sounds we've come to expect from the smooth R&B singer. One of the highlights of the album is "Can't Wait," an amazing duet with SoulBounce fave Avery*Sunshine. That song left us wondering why Noel doesn't do duets more often. So we were excited when we learned that he was ready to release another collaboration. Especially because his partner this time around is none other than UK vocalist Hilary Mwelwa, better known as Hil St. Soul. The two trade verses on the remix for Gourdin's up-tempo jam, "No Worries."

Driven by a funky rhythm section, the disco-flavored original is certainly groovy in its own right. So we aren't mad that the remix keeps the original instrumentals in tact. But while that aspect of the song is the same, the addition of St. Soul definitely mixes it up and adds a distinctive element to the track. Mwelwa's vocals on the second verse infuse the jam with just the right amount of feminine charm. And the vocal interplay between the two singers is seamless, as if their voices were made for each other. Noel has stated that "I definitely hope it's not the last time our voices grace the same record," and we couldn't agree more.

Check out the audio below, and excuse us while we cut a rug. There's no word on when the remix will be available for purchase, but City Heart, Southern Soul is currently for sale wherever good music is sold.
