Last we heard from Antonique Smith her boo was heavy on her mind on "Thinkin Bout You" after he left her "Speechless." Oh, but what a difference a year makes. Much like Latifah, Antonique has had it up to here with her man's tomfoolery and shenanigans, and she reads him for filth on her new single "Hold Up Wait A Minute (Woo Woo)."
The track has been floating around online for the past few weeks, but it counts today as its official release date and Ms. Smith has also released a lyric video to mark the occasion. The lyric video could actually double as a real music video with Antonique in it and pretty good production values.
Speaking of pretty, Antonique looks gorgeous with her fresh platinum blonde bob. She's giving me '90s Faith Evans (whom she played in the movie Notorious) meets Christina Aguilera realness with her new look as well as channeling the latter with her vocals. She employs The Aguilerian™ Technique to fine effect with a splash of her own sass.
