The Foreign Exchange & Sy Smith Are On Time With 'Right After Midnight'

If you know anything about SoulBounce, then you know that we love us some Phonte and Nicolay of The Foreign Exchange. In most of our eyes, they can do no wrong. Their fourth album Love In Flying Colors is available now, and we have been jamming ever since its Tuesday release. One of the many highlights on the album is "Right After Midnight," a seductive, body roll-inducing jam featuring the lovely Sy Smith. The melody floats over your ears in addition to some welcomed 808 flourishes and synth work reminiscent of sounds you'd hear in the 1980s. This song would slip nicely into an old school R&B classics set next to some Shalamar grooves or Alexander O'Neal and Cherrelle's "Saturday Love." If you haven't grabbed the album yet, then we're judging you, but once you hear this jam we suspect you'll two-step your way right on over to iTunes, Amazon or your local record store.
