With "Blurred Lines" topping the charts and "4 The Rest Of Your Life" impacting on radio, Robin Thicke has laid the foundation in the first six months of the year for a 2013 takeover. (Sorry, Justin.) Thicke capped June with a rousing performance at the BET Awards '13 and the release of his third single "Give It 2 U" featuring hip-hop's golden boy Kendrick Lamar. This song previously surfaced in May with 2 Chainz bringing down the property value, but for the official release he's been kicked to the curb. His presence isn't missed on the pulsating track that finds Robin giving his falsetto a nice little workout and Kendrick flirtatiously flexing on his bars. This song isn't as fun and immediately likable as "Blurred Lines," but it's something that I suspect will be bumped at the club and on car stereos all summer long, so get used to hearing it.
