Quadron Say 'Hey Love'

It's been a long and arduous wait for new music from Quadron, but the Danish duo have decided to surprise fans today with the musical equivalent of a tasty box of chocolates. With Coco O. on vocals and Robin Hannibal on production, the pair return with a finger-snapping, foot-stomper of a good time on "Hey Love." Coco sweetly pines away for her love to get his mind right or get left over hand claps, gospel-flavored humming and a piano-driven backbeat that may induce a shake and/or shimmy. This is a departure from the subdued soul of their 2009 self-titled debut album, but it's welcome nonetheless to hear the once Bounce-Worthy act spread their sonic wings and have fun with their sound. Now signed to Sylvia Rhone's Vested In Culture imprint, the single will be available for purchase on March 5th, and hopefully we'll get a firm release for their as-yet-untitled sophomore album/major label debut shortly thereafter.
