It's Hard Not To 'Love' Luke James

Luke James Make Love To Me Still

R&B newbie Luke James continues to impress with his latest offering. Coming fresh off his first GRAMMY nomination, the "I Want You" singer is gearing up to release his debut Made to Love next year. In order to keep his buzz going, he's dropped second single and video "Make Love to Me." The song -- which is produced by Salaam Remi and Ne-Yo -- is a smooth, well-crafted slow jam that shows off Luke's sex appeal along with his flawless voice. For the clip, Luke used Ernie Barnes' famous painting "Sugar Shack," which is best known from TV show Good Times and as the cover of Marvin Gaye's 1976 album I Want You, as inspiration. Like the painting, the video features people ecstatically grooving as Luke croons for the crowd (which happens to include Terry Ellis, Kelly Rowland, Omari Hardwick and Luke's good friend Stacy Barthe). If this has you wishing that Luke's debut was dropping sometime closer to now, then you'll be glad to know that single will release his EP Whispers in the Dark next week -- December 12th to be exact -- to tide fans over. In the meantime, let Luke's mellow groove get you in the mood.
