Trombonist Jeff Bradshaw is readying the April 24th release of his second album, Bone Appetit, and giving us another set of visuals to whet our appetites while we feast our eyes on the video for "Got Til It's Gone." His update of the Janet Jackson favorite features Marsha Ambrosius on vocals and rapper TWyse dropping a verse with the city of New Orleans serving as the setting. Filmed on location at Musician's Village and the Lower Ninth Ward, the video for "Got Til It's Gone" also serves to highlight the fact that almost seven years after Hurricane Katrina, much of New Orleans and many of its residents are still struggling to rebuild. Not only is this video entertainment, but it's a call to action to keep the rich musical heritage of the birthplace of jazz alive and to support the New Orleans Musician's Relief Fund. Watch the video and pause for a cause which helps to provide musical instruments for NOLA school children.
