Tis the season. No, not Christmastime, although it is that time of year as well. It's GRAMMY season, and SoulBounce is returning for the third straight year to cover the R&B/soul beat. We're excited to get invited back to the big dance as a Community Blogger, and we're even more excited to find out if any of our SoulBounce faves will receive nominations with the R&B categories controversially being whittled down to four earlier this year. We will get the 411 tonight when the world finds out who is nominated for the 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards to take place on Sunday, February 12, 2011 in Los Angeles. Coming to us live and direct from the City of Angels tonight will be the annual GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!! broadcast on CBS starting at 10 pm EST. Once again LL Cool J will assume the hosting duties for the prelude to music's biggest night, and the roster of performers scheduled to hit the stage isn't too shabby with Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Usher, Ludacris, and Valerie Simpson amongst them. Hip-hop heads will definitely want to tune in for a historic performance of "The Message" by Grandmaster Flash, Melle Mel, and Scorpio joined by LL, Common, Rick Ross, and Lupe Fiasco. That performance alone has us waiting with baited breath.
