Maybe it's just me, but this new song "Never in Vain" has to be the most gentle, reverent and poetic song that I've ever heard from Georgia Anne Muldrow. And, being that 99.9% of what she puts out has a message of worth, is out-of-the-box brilliant and typically all that in my humble opinion, that is saying a lot. While the video for "Never in Vain" is not much, other than clips pieced together from a recent performance at S.O.B.'s in New York City, the song is what is important as it introduces us her upcoming album, Owed To Mama Rickie. Is it a miss that the video isn't much more? No, not all. For, when the vocals and lyrics are as beautiful as they are on this song, mental imagery is, by far, more likely to predominate.
