How proud are we that three of our past Bounce-Worthy artists are finalists to perform at this year's Soul Beach Music Festival, which goes down from May 26th-31st in Aruba! Aruba? OK, maybe we're a little jealous, too. Nonetheless, we couldn't be happier to hear that one of NYC's finest Darien, sweet soul songstress Alison Carney and multi-talented virtuoso V.Rich are amongst the top 20 finalists up for the opportunity to open for Toni Braxton at the festival. In addition to that impressive threesome, acts like SoulBounce fave Choklate, veteran singer/songwriter Gordon Chambers and spirited outfit The Fuzz Band are also in the running. The first round of online voting is open now through May 3rd, at which point the field will be narrowed down to 10 with additional voting before a winner is chosen to go to Aruba and not only perform with Toni but alongside musical acts like Mary J. Blige, Joe and Raheem DeVaughn and comedians Kevin Hart, Chris Spencer and Mark Curry. Soul music, comedy and Aruba? I think I need a vacation.
